Featured on: Codeable’s 4 Questions About Caching Plugins You Always Wanted To Ask A WordPress Developer

This week we were featured on Codeable’s blog regarding the issue of caching. Codeable is a WordPress outsourcing service that supports huge amounts of businesses across the world. They recently turn 5 years old and already have worked with over 21,000 customers on a total of  70,136 tasks. I am a resident WordPress Expert at Codeable and can not recommend them highly enough.

The post was called ‘4 Questions About Caching Plugins You Always Wanted To Ask A WordPress Developer‘. I was able to talk with Matteo Duò about a range of issue regarding speed, caching and best practice when it comes to increasing load time.

The Blog answers questions like:

  • Question #1: What’s caching in plain English?
  • Question #2: How do caching plugins work?
  • Question #3: Do I need a plugin if my hosting provider has a caching service already?
  • Question #4: Is it preferable to use the caching option provided by the hosting service or a caching plugin?

As well as a great WordPress Speed Optimization Checklist to make sure your site is ready in terms of speed.
